Wreaths Across America at Pacific View Memorial Park – Dec. 16

WHAT:

This Saturday, Dec. 16, Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary will be one of two Orange County cemeteries participating in Wreaths Across America, a national event to remember our nation’s fallen heroes during the holidays. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, 70-plus volunteers from the community will place fresh wreaths throughout Garden of Valor, Pacific View’s dedicated veterans section, on nearly 1,000 gravesides of veterans who have passed.

The nonprofit organization, Wreaths Across America, works to remember fallen United States veterans, honor those who serve, and teach children the value of freedom by placing ceremonial wreaths on veterans’ graves. Nationally, more than 1,200 cemeteries across the nation will participate in this event and more than 700,000 wreaths will be laid.

Volunteers are still needed for the wreath laying ceremony. Please visit https://wreaths.fastport.com/donateLocation.html?page=14751 to sign up.
